Pony activities

During the holiday periods, children from 4 years old (max 50 kilos and max 1.60 m tall) can take part in really fun pony activities. Make your pony super handsome during the Pimp My Pony activity, join in the games afternoon or make a nice cake for your pony and learn what your pony can and cannot eat. Want to participate? Pony instruction half hour - 29/05, 07/06

Have you booked a pony vacation or want to know more about handling a pony? Then come and watch the pony instruction half hour! Pony riding school Ommerland will clearly explain how to handle a pony. Sign up here. Time: 10:00 - 10:30 am. Registration opens 7 days in advance.

Pony cake making (for children, without their own pony) - 30/05

Surprise one of the ponies of Ommerland with a delicious pony cake! The ponies will love it. We will provide the ingredients and explain to you what a pony can and cannot eat. Time: 11.30 - 12.00 am. Registration opens 7 days in advance.

Ponywaldausritt (für Kinder mit Ponyferien) - 01/06, 08/06

We will take you on a nice step ride together, on a pony from Pony Manege Ommerland, over the park and through the forest. Dad or Mum will accompany you on the pony and a teacher from Pony Manege Ommerland will show you the way. Along the way, you can take a nice photo of you and the pony, so Mum and Dad bring the camera! We will provide something tasty for all children. Time: 11am-12.30pm (approx 4-5km). Registration opens 7 days in advance. For children from 4 years old (max 50 kilos and max 1.65 m long). As a parent/adult, you accompany the pony yourself.

Pony Forest Ride (for children without their own pony) - 01/06, 08/06

Pony meet, especially for the little ones! - 09/06

Today the little ones can get up close and personal with one of our sweet Shetland ponies. Petting, cuddling and just sitting on them is quite an adventure for kids up to 4 years old. Time: 11.30 - 12.00 am. Die Anmeldung wird 7 Tage im Voraus geöffnet.

Pimp My Pony (for children with a pony holiday) - 29/05

Who will make their pony the most beautiful? There are differences materials available to use such as: glitter,watercolor,streamers and sidewalk chalk. You may also come dressed, so that you stand out well. Time: 11:30-12:30. Registration opens 7 days in advance.

Brushing and braiding (for children with a pony holiday) - 07/06

During this course, you will learn all about pony care such as brushing, mane combing and braiding, hoof care and guiding the pony to and from the paddock. Once you have completed the course you will receive the Ommerland Brushing and Braiding Diploma. Time: 11.30am-12.30pm. Registration opens 7 days in advance.

Will you join us for fright training in the arena? In fright training on the hand, we work on winning the pony's trust to such an extent that they dare to take up the challenge of exciting objects with us. Time: 11.30-13.00 (6 children can participate every half hour). Registration opens 7 days in advance.
