Free day Recreation team
Today the recreation team is having a nice rest but we will be back tomorrow.
Lane swimming 21+
On weekdays from 9am to 10am and on weekends from 9.30am to 10am, the outdoor pool is only open for lane swimming from 21 years of age.
From 10.00 am everyone is welcome for free swimming. So please do not let (your) children enter the pool until 10.00.
Crafts with Grandpa Johan: Wood craft
Today we are going to make something fun out of wood with Grandpa Johan and Grandpa Albert. What we will make is a surprise every time.
Participation is free, thanks to Bouwgroep De Jong from Oosterwolde and Grandpa Johan for all the materials!
Grandpa Johan and Grandpa Albert are two enthusiastic seasonal guests of Ommerland, who voluntarily organise this activity.
Online registration is compulsory and can be done from 3 days in advance. Due to the intensity of the activity, capacity is limited to 25 children.
Pony meet, especially for the little ones!
Today the little ones can get up close and personal with one of our sweet Shetland ponies. Petting, cuddling and just sitting on them is quite an adventure for kids up to 4 years old.

Activity rules
- Registration: each person may only register once for each activity. In the event of duplicate registrations, both registrations will be deleted and participation will not be permitted.
- Weather conditions: in case of rain, outdoor activities may be replaced by indoor activities. Keep an eye on the app for updates.
- Sports and games activities: wearing suitable shoes (no flip-flops) and clothing is mandatory, unless it is a water activity. Participation may be refused without suitable clothing.

The animation team will give you a stamp card. Every time you come to do crafts, you will get a stamp and if you fill up your stamp card, you will receive your crafting diploma!
Pony scare training (for children with a pony holiday)
Will you take part in fright training in the arena? In fright training on the hand, we work on gaining the pony's confidence to such an extent that they dare to take up the challenge of exciting objects with us. Time: 11:30-13:00. Registration opens 7 days in advance.

Circus Harlekino
None other than Circus Harlekino is coming to Ommerland for the first time this year! With a brand new circus tent and an amazing circus programme, it's going to be a spectacular show.
As soon as you step inside the tent, the world changes. The smell of fresh popcorn, the warm light, the excitement in the air you are so close to the ring that you can feel every muscle tension, every sparkle and every laugh.
Eleven top artists from six different countries will take you on a 75-minute journey filled with trapeze acts, magic, musical clowns, impressive handstands and surprises that will make your heart beat faster. No intermission, no time to catch your breath just pure wonder, from start to finish.

Ommer Bissingh
Today is Ommer Bissingh in the centre of Ommen, with the Palingrokerij (eel smokehouse) taking centre stage.
There will be a fair and flea market in the centre between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Freshly smoked eel will be on sale. Some participants will also have smoked salmon available. Every Ommer Bissingh sails the Vechtzomp, but today the Vechtzomp Gramsbergen will also be sailing.
RTV Oost will be present at the Market. This summer, they will once again be travelling through the province to capture the summer atmosphere and let everyone enjoy everything that makes Overijssel so special.

Graffiti Workshop
Today, Patrick from Painting on Taste is coming to host a cool graffiti workshop! In the workshop, you will learn how to work with various layers of paint and how a graffiti artwork is set up from start to finish. You will get your own canvas to work on and can of course take it home afterwards!
Participation for everyone from 6 years old. Cost €15.00 per person. There are 3 workshop rounds (10.00 - 11.30, 12.30 - 14.00 and 14.45 - 16.15), the third round only opens when the first two rounds are full. For this activity, full = full and a minimum registration of 30 people applies.
Please note: if you are unable to pay online, please report to reception as soon as possible to register and pay on the spot.

This morning, you can enjoy the nature around Ommen with 't Vossenspan, a great opportunity to discover the area in a completely different way.

Bringing ponies to the meadow
This Thursday, we will take the ponies to pasture at the end of the day. Will you walk with us and the ponies to the meadow? We leave at 16.00 from the riding school and walk to the meadow in 15 minutes. We really like it when you walk with us and the ponies love to show you how much fun they have in the meadow. Reservations are not necessary, just make sure you are at the Pony Manege at 16.00.

During this course, you will learn all about pony care such as brushing, mane combing and braiding, hoof care and guiding the pony to and from the paddock. Once you have completed the course, you will receive the Ommerland Brushing and Braiding Diploma.

Dog centre WRAF: Get introduced to agility!
Mandy is organizing a fun active class for you and your dog. For this activity your dog has to be at least 6 months old.
You register per dog. 1 dog = 1 boss.
Other family members can of course come and watch, but it is not necessary to register for them.
Registration opens a week in advance and full = full.
If it is full you are welcome to come to the field to watch.
If someone drops out, there is a possibility that you can still participate.

Along the way, you can take a nice photo of you and the pony, so Mum and Dad bring the camera! We will provide something tasty for all children.
